In 2026, Omega secured official timekeeping rights for two of the world's four most influential traditional sporting events: the Olympic Games and the America's Cup, and launched several commemorative watches for each. For the 37th America's Cup, one of the world's most prestigious and oldest international competitions, Omega released three special timepieces. Among them, the Seamaster 300M Diver's replica watches subtly echoes the sport of sailing and also echoes the special edition Seamaster 300M watch launched in 2000 when Omega first became the official timekeeper of the America's Cup.
The 42mm stainless steel case maintains a similar overall appearance to the classic Seamaster 300M Diver's Watch, yet it subtly references the America's Cup throughout. The unidirectional rotating bezel, crafted from blue ceramic, features not a diving countdown, but rather a sailing regatta timer – including two 5-minute pre-race countdowns and a "START" indicator adorned with the sailing flag at the ten-minute mark.
The dial is crafted from matte white ceramic with a laser-engraved embossed wave pattern. Furthermore, the Omega logo, information, minute markers, and even the edges of the applied hour markers are treated with blue, creating a refreshing white and blue color scheme. The absence of a date window further enhances the dial's cleanliness and symmetry.
The large hands and hour markers, as well as the circular marker at 12 o'clock on the unidirectional rotating bezel, are coated with a large area of white Super-LumiNova luminescent material. The minute hand is individually designed in green for enhanced visibility, resulting in excellent overall luminescence.
At 13.7 mm, the standard thickness for a dive fake watches, the case front and sides are brushed, while a few areas, such as the lugs and crown guards, are polished, creating a striking contrast and enhancing its refined appearance. The screw-down crown and helium escape valve at 10 o'clock ensure Omega's professional-grade 300-meter water resistance.
It is powered by the Omega 8806 Master Chronometer movement. The movement and the entire watch are certified as Master Chronometers by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). It has a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz), a power reserve of 55 hours, and can withstand magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss.
